What we collect, why we collect it, and how long we keep it.

What we collect
Account data comes from the sign-in provider (Google) or from an email/password signup. Submissions carry the uploader’s identity through review.
Analytics we run ourselves
Site views, image views and downloads, and search terms are recorded as aggregate daily counts, not tied to an individual account. Worth stating plainly, because it is a genuinely better answer than most sites can give.
Google Analytics
We also use Google Analytics 4, which is not aggregate in the same way: it sets its own cookies, assigns each browser an identifier, and reports to Google as a separate processor. It records pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP, device and browser, and how you arrived at the site.
This is a different bargain from the counts above and is described separately for that reason. Google's own handling of that data is governed by their terms, not ours.
Cookies
Session cookies for sign-in, a cookie holding your light/dark theme preference, and the Google Analytics cookies described above (_ga and _ga_*). The first two are needed for the site to work; the analytics ones are not.
Retention and deletion
How long accounts, submissions, and logs are kept, and how a Member requests deletion.
Your rights and contact
Access, correction, erasure, and portability, plus the address to send a request to. Data controller still to be named.
