Reading and retrieval
Fetching pages to answer a question, and linking a visitor to the image detail page, is fine. The intended shape: point people at the page, don’t re-host the file.
Bulk download and training
The position on scraping the collection wholesale, and on using these images as training data, is the substantive decision this page exists to record. It is not settled yet — the licence governs until it is.
